Business Plan Wizard
A lender-ready business plan and financial workbook, one plain question at a time.
SBA lenders and banks ask for a business plan with projections. This wizard walks through every section they expect, shows an example answer for each question, and builds two files you can take to the bank: the plan as a Word document and a workbook with a 3-year forecast, cash flow, break-even and debt coverage. Your answers save in this browser as you type and are never sent anywhere.

Plan sections follow the SBA's guide to writing a business plan. For free one-on-one help, SCORE offers mentors and its own financial projections template, and your local Small Business Development Center will review a plan at no charge. This wizard is open source under the MIT License (source and readme, license). It uses docx (MIT) and ExcelJS (MIT) to build the files in your browser.
